I recently purchased a franchise coffee shop.

I had never owned a business before or worked in a coffee shop, so the whole concept was new to me. 

The paperwork and documentation were overwhelming and consisted of hundreds of pages of legal terms. For each document, Elizabeth Gore-Jones provided a summary for each point, advising what this meant and a further column advising what it meant to me or what I needed to be aware of, etc.

Further, we had an issue with the bank and Elizabeth chased and chased them to get a response.  Finally, contact was made only to find that they had "forgotten" about the settlement.  This was now with under one week before settlement and the bank said there was no way that settlement would go ahead. Elizabeth strongly followed this up and made direct contact with the franchisor and the seller's solicitors.  They all worked together putting pressure on the bank taking it higher and did not let up until settlement occurred on time. This resulted in an hourly communique during the last few days, and Elizabeth was wonderful throughout this process.
